Modular course
Modular course of study in "Confectionary industry – Gaz production" is subject to the Act of associate program as ratified by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. During the said course all subjects and skills are presented to the learners within independent packages so-called modular. Each course is evaluated by number of credits and the executive evaluation is measured by number of credit hours the relevant course is presented.
Modular course includes general, basic, specialized as well as training courses in modular format.  The total modular equals to 7 including 72 credits and 1776 credit hours.
Modular courses are categorized as: basic modular, chemistry modular in gaz production industry, food hygiene (modular), quality control modular in gaz production industry, production process modular in gaz production industry, machinery management (modular) in gaz production industry and, finally, training course (modular).
After enrolment and passing all required credits the applicants will be granted official certificate for the relevant modular.
Upon completing all educational modular courses and passing the relevant examinations the students will obtain associate degree certified by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
In this method there is no need to participate in national university entrance exam and the students are selected on the basis of scores they achieve (i.e. GPA, nativity, living in vicinity and …).
The applicants are required to hold high school diploma in the field of mathematics-physics or experimental sciences, to meet certain motion and physical requirements and, if needed, to pass pre-requisite courses.

Semester education programs
In this method the educational programs are executed in the same manner as other universities. The students are admitted through national university entrance exams held in the second half of each year by national testing organization. Thereafter they are introduced to the university of applied science and technology. The students complete the relevant courses of study in several semesters and obtain associate degree in "confectionary industry – Gaz production".
According to pertinent regulations the semester education programs take 2-3 years and the courses in theory and practice are presented as credits. Thus, 16 hours is allocated for each theoretical credit, 32 hours for each practical credit and 48 hours for each workshop credit and training course takes 120 hours. Each semester lasts 16 weeks. This course is composed of total credits of 72 including: 13 general courses, 10 basic courses, 24 principal courses and 25 specialized courses.
